I’m Mireya, proud owner of Empire Wax Center in Claremont, CA, a licensed esthetician since 2015, and mom to two amazing adult children. My journey began in my teenage years, tweezing my mother’s brows and my own. Little did I know that this hobby would evolve into a fulfilling career in waxing and sugaring. With 9 years of dedication to mastering full-body waxing and sugaring in Claremont, my passion goes beyond technical expertise. I treasure the connections I build with my clients and the opportunity to educate them along the way. My commitment to detail shines through in every service, building trust by catering to individual needs and preferences, assisting clients in achieving their desired waxing results. Our waxing options include soft, hard, or sugar waxing. I eagerly anticipate your next appointment! Available exclusively by appointment, with after-hours and weekend slots also available by appointment.
I opened Empire Wax Center in Claremont in July 2019, and it has been a true joy to see it grow and expand. From its humble beginnings in 2015, when I worked from home in San Diego, to what it is today, the journey has been incredible. The loyalty and friendships that have blossomed from our clientele have also been amazing.
When I’m not at the wax center with clients, I cherish spending time with family and friends. I have a passion for exploring new places and have had the pleasure of visiting many destinations around the world. For me, traveling is about more than just seeing new sights; it’s about learning—whether it’s local history, geography, or the vibrant communities. I find it exhilarating and fulfilling for both my mind and soul. In my free time, I also love watching live sports and enjoying live music.

Julianne
Julianne is a licensed cosmetologist who recently joined the team at Empire Wax Center. After completing her cosmetology training and passing the state licensing exam, she is excited to begin building her career in the beauty industry while working alongside her mother and mentor, Mireya Doud.
Growing up around the business, Julianne developed an early appreciation for professional skincare, client care, and the confidence that comes from feeling comfortable in your own skin. Today, she brings that same passion into every appointment, focusing on creating a welcoming, supportive experience for each client.
Julianne specializes in helping clients feel comfortable during their services, especially those who may be new to waxing. She takes pride in providing attentive service, clear communication, and a calm approach that helps clients feel relaxed and confident throughout their visit.
As she continues to grow her clientele and refine her skills, Julianne is dedicated to delivering high-quality services while helping clients maintain smooth, healthy skin.
